Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) have officially appointed experienced coach Salisu Yusuf as their new Technical Adviser following the departure of Nurudeen Aweroro last week.
Yusuf joins the Oluyole Warriors with more than two decades of coaching experience, having worked with top Nigerian clubs including Kano Pillars, Rangers International, and Enyimba. He most recently managed Coton Sport in Benin.
The seasoned tactician has also served in several national team roles, including as assistant coach of the Super Eagles, while also taking charge of the Super Eagles B and Nigeria U-23 teams. One of his notable achievements came in 2018, when he led the home-based Super Eagles to the final of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco.
Shooting Stars will be hoping Yusuf’s experience, tactical knowledge, and leadership qualities can help drive the club’s ambitions in both domestic and continental competitions.
The Oluyole Warriors will begin their new season campaign against newly promoted Inter Lagos.
