Super Eagles fans, celebrate! Nigerian strikers Chibuike Nwaiwu and Paul Onuachu were the stars of the show as Trabzonspor defeated Fatih Karagümrük 3-1 at Papara Park on Friday night.
Paul Onuachu opened the scoring in the 20th minute — his 18th league goal of the season for Trabzonspor — before setting up Chibuike Nwaiwu for the third goal in the 50th minute with a perfect assist.
Nwaiwu netted a brilliant brace: one just two minutes into the second half to restore Trabzonspor’s lead, followed by the match-sealing goal courtesy of Onuachu’s pass. 
Daniel Verde had briefly equalised for Karagümrük in the 26th minute.
Nwaiwu has now scored 2 goals and provided 1 assist in 6 league appearances this season for the Black Sea Storm.
With this victory, third-placed Trabzonspor move to 48 points from 24 matches — just 4 points behind leaders Fenerbahçe, who have a game in hand.
