Nigerian defender Chukwuma Eze has completed a season-long loan move from Real Oviedo to Villarreal, according to reports.
The 22-year-old centre-back will feature for Villarreal B during the 2026/27 season, as confirmed by the Spanish club.
Eze, who joined Real Oviedo from Ajuwa Academy in 2021, has progressed through the club’s development system and gained valuable experience through loan spells at CD Llanes, L’Entregu CF, and Real Avilés.
The defender recently signed a contract extension with Real Oviedo that runs until 2029. During his loan stint at Real Avilés last season, he made 18 appearances.
Eze has also made his senior debut for Real Oviedo, featuring against Levante in April 2025.
