Belgian club Zulte Waregem have officially completed the signing of promising Nigerian youngster Maliq Musa from NPFL side Ikorodu City.
The Belgian outfit reportedly beat competition from several top European clubs, including Spanish giants Barcelona, to secure the talented youngster’s signature.
Musa is expected to begin his journey with Jong Essevee (Zulte Waregem’s U-23 team), where he will continue his development and adapt to Belgian football before challenging for a place in the senior squad. 
The young forward made nine league appearances for Ikorodu City last season, contributing one goal and one assist. He has also already joined training sessions with his new teammates as he begins the next chapter of his career.
