
Molde FK has announced that Nigerian midfielder Daniel Daga has signed a new contract extension, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2031.
The 19-year-old, who joined Molde in January 2025, has made 22 official appearances for the club, scoring five goals and providing one assist.
In a statement, Daga said: “First of all, I thank God. I am very happy to have signed a new contract. I feel incredibly comfortable in Molde, and the club has a big place in my heart. We have a fantastic group of players and an exciting future ahead of us. I am proud to continue the journey and fight for this jersey.”
He added that he wants to be part of the exciting developments at the club and sees Molde as the right place to continue his progress.
Molde’s sporting director Ole Jakob Strandhagen described Daga as a young and ambitious player with important qualities and strong potential for further development.
The deal was confirmed by the club on 20 August 2026.
