The Pride of Rivers are gearing up for a crucial CAF Champions League Group B encounter against Moroccan giants RS Berkane this Friday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
After a tough 3-0 loss to Pyramids FC in Cairo last weekend, Coach Finidi George says the team has learned vital lessons and is ready to bounce back.
“Our focus is on Berkane. We’ve studied them and know what to expect. The game in Cairo taught us a lot, and we’re determined not to repeat those mistakes,” Finidi stated during the pre-match press conference. 
He assured fans that Rivers United has worked tirelessly since returning from Egypt and is prepared to fight for all three points.
A win on Friday could revive their campaign and put them back in contention in Group B.
