
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that each participating nation can register 28 players for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
CAF explained that the expanded squad size will help teams manage fitness, injuries, workload, and health concerns during the month-long tournament.
Additionally, each team can include up to 17 technical staff members, ensuring full support across coaching, medical, logistics, and performance analysis roles.
The 24 qualified nations must submit their final 28-man list by December 11.AFCON 2025 will run from December 18, 2025, to January 18, 2026, with Morocco as host.
