RS Berkane head coach Mounie Chaabani says his team expects a challenging battle against Rivers United in Friday’s CAF Champions League Matchday Two fixture at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
The Moroccan side kicked off their campaign with an emphatic 3–0 win over Zambia’s Power Dynamos last weekend, while Rivers United suffered a 3–0 loss to defending champions Pyramids FC.
Chaabani stressed that his squad will not underestimate Rivers United, praising their disciplined play in holding Pyramids to a goalless first half last week.
“It will be a difficult match because Rivers United is a disciplined team. We will not underrate them at all,” he told CAFonline.
