Lazio has made changes to its Serie A roster, reinstating Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru. The update comes after the club confirmed that Albanian full-back Elseid Hysaj has been excluded due to a knee injury sustained in early November.
Dele-Bashiru, who had been sidelined with a hamstring injury since September, replaces Hysaj in the squad. His last appearance for Lazio was on September 21 during the 1-0 derby loss to Roma.
With this move, coach Maurizio Sarri regains a midfielder at the expense of a defender, as Lazio looks to maintain balance in the squad for upcoming Serie A fixtures.
