Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman will wear the iconic No. 11 jersey for Atletico Madrid in the 2026/27 season.
The Nigerian international, who joined the Spanish club from Atalanta in January, previously wore the No. 22 shirt during his first six months with the LaLiga side. He now inherits the No. 11 jersey following the departure of Argentine midfielder Thiago Almada, who recently completed a move to River Plate.
The number is a familiar one for Lookman, having also worn the No. 11 shirt during part of his time at Atalanta. 
The 28-year-old enjoyed a productive debut campaign with Atletico Madrid, recording nine goals and four assists in 24 appearances across all competitions for the former Spanish champions.
