
Chiamaka Nnadozie, Michelle Alozie, Ashleigh Plumptre, Christy Ucheibe, and Rasheedat Ajibade have earned spots in the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) Women’s Africa Best XI for 2025.
The list, published on the IFFHS official website, highlights players who made significant impact in African women’s football. Nnadozie, Alozie, Plumptre, and Ajibade were instrumental in Nigeria’s triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, with Nnadozie, Alozie, and Ajibade also featuring in the Team of the Tournament.
Other notable names include South Africa’s Bambanani Mbane and Lebohang Ramalepe, Morocco’s Ghizlane Chebbak (2025 CAF African Women’s Player of the Year), Malawi’s Temwa Chawinga, Zambia’s Barbra Banda, and Morocco’s Sanaâ Mssoudy.
