Werder Bremen defender Felix Agu faces another period on the sidelines, according to reports.
The Nigeria international had only recently returned to action for the club after a four-month absence due to a syndesmosis ligament injury in his ankle. That previous issue also caused him to miss the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Unfortunately, during the warm-up before Werder Bremen’s Bundesliga match against St. Pauli last weekend, Agu suffered a muscle injury in his adductor area. The club confirmed the diagnosis, and he will be out for the time being.
This season, the 26-year-old left-back has made nine league appearances for the Greens.
