Victor Osimhen Shows Class: No Celebration Against Juventus Out of Respect for Luciano Spalletti.

In a dramatic UEFA Champions League knockout play-off second leg, Galatasaray secured their place in the last 16 despite a tough night in Turin. Juventus fought back valiantly from a 5-2 first-leg deficit, winning 3-2 on the night (5-7 aggregate after extra time), but Victor Osimhen’s crucial extra-time goal proved decisive.

The Galatasaray striker chose not to celebrate his strike, explaining his restraint in a post-match interview with Prime Video Italia:

“I didn’t feel the need to celebrate. I felt it was important to show respect for someone who means a lot to me and has played an important role in my career.”

Osimhen was clearly referring to Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti, his former manager who had a significant impact on his development.
