The defending Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Remo Stars, have appointed experienced coach Usman Abdallah as their new technical adviser.
Abdallah succeeds Daniel Ogunmodede, who led the Ikenne-based club to their historic first NPFL title last season.
A seasoned tactician in Nigerian football, Abdallah most recently managed Kano Pillars in the NPFL.
This appointment comes as Remo Stars face a challenging campaign, currently sitting in 19th position on the league table with 27 points from 27 matches and fighting to avoid relegation.
Abdallah will take charge immediately and will be on the touchline when Remo Stars host his former club, Katsina United, this weekend.
