Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has spoken out after officially parting ways with Chippa United on Thursday following his transfer request.
In a message shared on his X account, the 29‑year‑old thanked his teammates, coaches, fans, and the club chairman for their support throughout his time at the club.
“It was more than a family,” he wrote. “To my lovely teammates, dear coaches, amazing fans and great chairman… as I say farewell, a part of me will always remain with this club. I wish you success and happiness in the seasons ahead. Thank you and farewell. Until we meet again.”
Nwabali is now a free agent, and it remains to be seen where his next move will take him.
