Ahead of AFCON 2025 in Morocco, Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho says he’s ready to give his best if called upon.
The Cyprus-based shot-stopper, who last featured for Nigeria in 2024, earned a recall after consistent performances for Omonia Nicosia in the Cypriot league.
On his return to camp, Uzoho shared how much he missed the team spirit:“I missed the boys and the vibe in the camp. We’ve been together for a long time, and it feels good to reconnect.”
After more than a year away, he described his comeback as a moment of joy and privilege:“It was a relief knowing I’m back to represent Nigeria, which is the most important thing.”
He also expressed confidence in the technical crew:“Anyone called up is ready. If you’re not ready, you won’t be invited.”
Uzoho concluded with a strong message of commitment:“I am ready, and if the time comes and the country needs me, I will be prepared.”
