The latest FIFA Women’s World Ranking released on Thursday shows Nigeria’s Super Falcons have dropped one spot globally, moving from 36th to 37th.
Their inactivity during the recent international break contributed to the slight decline.
Despite this, Justine Madugu’s team retains its position as Africa’s number one, ahead of South Africa, Ghana, Zambia, and Morocco, who complete the continent’s top five.
On the global stage, Spain continues to lead the rankings, followed by the USA, Germany, England, and Sweden.
