Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho is close to making his comeback after being sidelined with a hamstring injury since October’s UEFA Europa League clash against Sturm Graz.
The 29-year-old recently resumed training and was on the bench during Celtic’s 2-1 loss to Hearts last weekend. Manager Nancy confirmed Iheanacho will be eased back gradually, noting:“He has trained well, but he needs minutes. It’s been two months since he last played.”
Iheanacho is expected to feature in tonight’s Europa League clash with AS Roma. He joined Celtic on a free transfer during the summer.
