Former Liverpool captain Jamie Carragher believes manager Arne Slot has just one week to turn things around at Anfield.
The Reds were beaten 4-1 by PSV in the Champions League on Wednesday, marking their ninth loss in 12 games — the club’s worst run in 71 years.
Liverpool currently sit 12th in the Premier League and face West Ham this weekend, followed by matches against Leeds and Sunderland.
Carragher wrote in his Telegraph column that anything less than seven points from these fixtures would make the situation “untenable,” adding:“Arne Slot has a week to save his job. No matter the goodwill, Liverpool cannot sustain this drop in standards.”
