In a recent BBC interview, the England international shared that his parents grew up in Nigeria and their values have greatly influenced his life.
“My name is Bukayo Moses Ayoyinka Temidayo Saka. I’m very proud of my Nigerian heritage,” he said.
Although Saka represents England at international level, he has never forgotten his family’s origins. He even visited Lagos in June 2023, where he was hosted by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The 24-year-old recently captained Arsenal in their 4-1 Premier League win over Tottenham Hotspur.
