Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi made his comeback from injury as Beşiktaş secured a commanding 4-0 away victory over Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig.
Ndidi, who was substituted in the 60th minute, described the change as precautionary, noting:
“I’ve just returned from injury. Instead of playing the full 90 minutes, it was a precaution. We have another match in five days.”
Reflecting on the team’s performance, he added:
“We scored four and didn’t concede. It was a good match. We’re happy and want to repeat this in the next game.”
Ndidi also praised teammate Orkun Kökçu, saying:
“Orkun is a great player who gives his all. The key is teamwork — we’ll keep improving together.”
