
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named Houssam Benyahia as the referee for the CAF Champions League first round second leg fixture between Rivers United and FC Les Aigles du Congo.
The match is scheduled for Sunday, September 28, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, with kickoff set for 4:00 PM (Nigeria time).
Benyahia will be supported by fellow Algerians Hamza Bouzit (Assistant Referee 1) and Haithem Bouima (Assistant Referee 2), while Loutfi Bekouassa will serve as the fourth official. The match commissioner is Munkaila Nassam Adam from Ghana.
The “Pride of Nigeria” will be looking to capitalize on home advantage as they host the “Eagles of Congo” in this crucial return leg.
