Victor Boniface Set for Pitch Return After Three-Month Injury Layoff.

Victor Boniface is edging closer to a return to action after spending three months on the sidelines due to injury.

The Nigerian forward, currently on loan at Werder Bremen from Bayer Leverkusen, resumed training this week following the setback he suffered during a session last December.

Initially ruled out for the rest of the season, the 25-year-old is now expected to feature for Bremen before the campaign wraps up. Boniface says he’s excited to be back and eager to help the team finish strong.

“I’m happy to be back after three months out. I’m looking forward to what we can achieve at the end of the season,” he told the club’s official website.

So far this season, he has contributed two assists in 11 Bundesliga appearances.
