Former Chelsea captain John Terry has voiced his frustration following the Blues’ defeat to Leeds United on Wednesday night.
Leeds struck twice in the first half through Jaka Bijol and Ao Tanaka, before Pedro Neto gave Chelsea hope after the break. However, Dominic Calvert-Lewin punished a defensive error to seal the win for the hosts.
The result leaves Enzo Maresca’s men nine points behind leaders Arsenal.
In a TikTok video, Terry said:”You either match their intensity or take the sting out of the game, and we didn’t do that in the first half. Following two great performances with this result won’t make you title contenders.”
