Nigerian-born forward George Ilenikhena has reportedly decided to commit his international future to the Super Eagles, choosing Nigeria ahead of France.
According to various reports, the highly rated young striker reached the decision after discussions with Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle, who is said to have shared his vision and plans for the attacker within the national team setup.
Eligible to represent both Nigeria and France, Ilenikhena is widely regarded as one of the most promising young talents in European football. His reported decision is expected to provide a significant boost for the Super Eagles as they continue to build a competitive squad for future international tournaments. 
While neither the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) nor the player has made an official announcement, reports indicate that Ilenikhena has chosen to pledge his international allegiance to Nigeria.
