Evans Ogenyi is on the verge of being named the new technical adviser of Nigeria Premier Football League side Wikki Tourists, according to reports.
He is expected to replace Abdullahi Maikaba, who stepped down from the role last month.
Ogenyi, an experienced coach, previously handled Kano Pillars earlier this season and also served as an assistant coach at Rivers United.
His arrival is anticipated to bring much-needed stability to the Bauchi Elephants, who have struggled in recent weeks—securing only two wins in their last 15 matches.
Wikki Tourists currently sit 16th on the NPFL table with 32 points from 28 games.
