Brentford Signs Nigerian-Belgian Talent Kaye Furo on Long-Term Deal.

Premier League side Brentford FC has officially confirmed the signing of 18-year-old Kaye Furo on a five-and-a-half-year contract.

Born in Okrika, Rivers State, Nigeria, and raised in Belgium, Furo brings both physical presence and technical ability to the Bees. Standing at 6’3”, he joins Brentford after spending nine years with Club Brugge, where he featured for the first team and Club NXT.

Furo is the son of former Super Eagles defender Iyenemi Furo, who represented Nigeria at the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations and the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games but Kaye himself is a Striker.

At the international level, Kaye has represented Belgium across youth categories, from U15 to U21, making his U21 debut in September 2025. He previously played in the UEFA European Championship for Belgium’s U17 team and later progressed through U18 and U19 squads.

Brentford described him as having “roots in Nigeria, raised in Belgium, ready to make his mark,” while manager Keith Andrews expressed confidence in the young star:
“I have no doubt he will be a big player for us.”
