
Nigeria’s Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie has officially joined Chicago Stars FC in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL). The club announced her signing on Tuesday, confirming a three-year deal that runs through the end of the 2028 season.
Alozie shared her excitement about the move:
“I’m thrilled to start this new chapter with the Stars. Can’t wait to meet the team, connect on and off the field, and see all the amazing fans in Chicago!”
The California-born defender began her pro career with Houston Dash in 2021 and played a key role in their historic playoff run in 2022.
Internationally, she’s a regular for Nigeria’s Super Falcons, bringing experience and depth to Chicago Stars FC for the seasons ahead.
