The Cameroonian government is preparing its next steps after FECAFOOT president Samuel Eto’o dismissed Indomitable Lions’ head coach Marc Brys and his technical crew—a decision that has sparked a major power struggle.
According to reports, the Presidency has instructed Sports Minister Narcisse Mouelle Kombi not to react immediately, signaling a cautious approach as tensions rise.
Marc Brys was appointed by the Ministry of Sports on the direct instruction of President Paul Biya following Cameroon’s disappointing AFCON 2023 campaign. 
Eto’o’s move is seen as a challenge to the Presidency, especially after he named a replacement coach with no international experience.
With both sides holding firm, a showdown over the control and future of Cameroon’s national team appears inevitable.
