Abia Warriors’ technical adviser, Imama Amapakabo, has shared his optimism as the team prepares for their crucial second leg encounter against Djoliba FC of Mali in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Umuahia-based side played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium last Sunday. They now head to Bamako for the reverse fixture at Stade Mamadou Konaté this Sunday.
Speaking to Completesports, Amapakabo said:
“It’s something I will have to go back and work on, and I also believe it’s possible. I’m a very optimistic person; I don’t give up no matter what.”
This marks Abia Warriors’ debut appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup, and the team is determined to make it count.
