15-year-old goalkeeper Ebenezer Harcourt is grateful for the opportunity to represent Nigeria and is already looking ahead to a bright future.
“It’s my first time with the team, and I thank God for giving me the opportunity,” Harcourt said after Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Congo at the African Nations Championship.
“I took my chance very well too. With the goalkeeper trainer guiding me, I believe I will be great.”
Harcourt made history as the youngest player to feature for the Super Eagles, keeping a clean sheet in his debut match.
