English Championship club, Blackburn Rovers, has confirmed the signing of Nigerian defender David Odogun on a Scholarship contract. Odogun will join the Blackburn U18 team for the upcoming season. The defender previously spent five seasons at Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
In related news, Blackburn Rovers’ highly-rated centre-back Silver Obinna Eze has opted to stay with the club despite interest from several Italian teams. Eze joined Blackburn on schoolboy terms from Accrington Stanley in November 2024 and has chosen to continue his development with the Championship side.
