Newly appointed Atalanta head coach Raffaele Palladino has reaffirmed that Ademola Lookman remains a key part of his plans despite ongoing uncertainty about the winger’s future.
Lookman, who pushed for a move to Inter Milan during the summer, was recently involved in a touchline dispute with former coach Inter Milan and has been linked with a January exit.
Speaking at his unveiling, Palladino said:”Lookman is crucial. I called him, as well as all the others who were on national team duty. He presented himself very well. I’ll evaluate his role based on how he performs in training.”
Atalanta face champions Napoli away this Saturday.
