AEK Athens manager Marko Nikolic has dismissed reports linking Rangers striker Cyriel Dessers with a move to the Greek club. According to Nikolic, the team is well-covered in attack and has no intention of signing a new striker.
“We are well-covered in attack with Zini, Pierrot, Martial, and even Eliasson,” Nikolic told Daily Record. “Our focus is on strengthening the left-back position, but there is still time.”
The Serbian tactician’s comments come after Dessers’ impressive performance last season, where he finished as the top scorer in the Scottish Premiership with 18 goals.
