Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze has been left out of the squad for tonight’s Europa Conference League play-off against Fredrikstad.
Manager Oliver Glasner confirmed the decision, as Eze’s transfer to Arsenal edges closer to completion. The Gunners have reportedly matched Tottenham’s £60m offer, adding £7.5m in potential add-ons, and are now working to finalize the deal in time for Saturday’s clash with Leeds.
Eze, 27, had been in talks with Spurs but is said to prefer a move to Arsenal—his boyhood club. He previously spent time in their academy before being released at age 13.
