The 2025 ITTF Africa West Regional Table Tennis Championships is coming to Lagos, Nigeria, from July 16 to 19. The Molade Okoya-Thomas Hall inside Teslim Balogun Stadium will host the intense regional competition. Over 10 countries, including Benin Republic, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Niger Republic, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, and Togo, will battle for regional supremacy. Defending champions Nigeria and Togo are ready to clash again, with Nigeria aiming to retain its women’s team title and Togo seeking back-to-back men’s team titles. Guinea, Niger Republic, and Sierra Leone are making a return to the championships after years of absence, adding to the excitement. The women’s singles category will crown a new champion this year, as Nigeria’s Hope Udoaka, the reigning titleholder, will not be participating. The competition will also determine qualifiers for the 2025 African Championships in Rwanda, making every match count
