Inter Milan is set to notify Ademola Lookman’s representatives that the club will no longer pursue his transfer from Atalanta.
Despite multiple offers, negotiations between the Serie A rivals have stalled, with Atalanta unwilling to sell the Nigerian forward to another Italian side.
This impasse has led to frustration within the Inter camp, prompting them to walk away from the deal.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared on X:
“Inter will talk to Ademola Lookman’s agent in the next 24 hours, expected to inform the Nigerian forward about deal OFF.
Negotiations with Atalanta have been frozen for two weeks.
Lookman’s deal was never linked to Nicola Zalewski’s move to Atalanta, contrary to reports.”
