Togolese striker Franck Mawuena’s contract with Remo Stars has expired, marking the end of his tenure with the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) champions. The experienced forward was a regular feature for Remo Stars last season, scoring 9 goals in 44 appearances.
Mawuena is expected to return to Togo for a new challenge. In a bid to replace him, Remo Stars are reportedly close to signing Malian forward Adama Goita on a 2-year deal.
