
CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe has extended heartfelt condolences to the Fédération Algérienne de Football following the tragic death of federal referee Marouane Kacemi.
According to Algeria’s Civil Protection authorities, the 37-year-old lost his life in a bus accident in Algiers on Friday, 15 August. The accident claimed 18 lives and left 24 others injured.
Dr Motsepe joined the Algerian football community in mourning the loss of a dedicated official who served the game with honour and distinction.
